Overview
Engineered specifically for custom furniture makers, architectural millwork shops, and hands-on DIY builders. While solid wood slabs are beautiful, using real 3/4" thick natural slabs for furniture doors or wide cabinet faces is notoriously risky due to seasonal warping, cupping, twisting, and structural instability. This panel solves that fundamental issue—giving you the rich, authentic look of a live-edge burl river slab on a dead-flat, dimensionally stable core that will never shift, bind, or pull out of square.
Substrate & Edge Construction
• 3/4" (19mm) Solid Black Expanded PVC Core: A dense, solid cellular plastic substrate offering maximum structural rigidity and zero moisture absorption.
• Factory-Finished Face Cladding: High-definition graphic printed on AquaVinyl ToughCoat and sealed under a 3 mil protective luster laminate overlay that resists scuffs and daily wear.
• Exposed Black Reveal Edges: Left un-wrapped with a factory-flat black PVC edge profile. Serves as an intentional shadow gap or black reveal, eliminating the need for complex edge-banding.
Machining & Hardware Installation (By Others)
• Concealed Euro Hinges: Material bores exceptionally clean with standard 35mm Forstner bits or automatic hinge-boring machines with zero edge blowout or face chip-out.
• Fasteners & Hardware: Accepts Euro screws, system screws, and expansion-dowel/press-in hardware directly.
• Cutting & Fabrication: Cuts effortlessly on standard table saws, CNC routers, or track saws using standard woodworking blades.
